ENTRY DEADLINE FOR PJ1 VEGAS SPECTACULAR ONLY A WEEK AWAY
Toledo, Ohio — The final week is here! Those wishing to contest the most lucrative one day event in karting history, The PJ1 $25,000 Vegas Spectacular Presented by Grand Prix Distributing September 17, 2005, have less than a week to get their entries in!
Scheduled to be contested at night, under the lights, in the cool night air of the Mojave desert at the Fabulous XPlex Motorsports complex, The race date will feature large purse competition in Karting's 3 premier divisions. Headlining the history making spectacular will be a 2 Hour timed event for TAG/Rotax Karts with two or more drivers per team.
This event is open to a wide variety of Racing Karts that meet the specifications of a TaG Kart in accordance to the TAG™ USA rule book...It is open to all Rotax Max Karts as well!
A Minimum Purse of $5,500 will be paid in this feature event ($4,000 of which goes to the winning team) with the potential payout going higher with a large field of competitors, which is expected.
Also on the card will be sprint races for ICC/Pro Moto (25 laps) and ICA (25 Laps).
The sprint events will pay a Minimum $2,000 to each winner and boast a minimum total purse of $2,750. The sprint purse will also increase with a large number of entries.
Thrilling, 10 Lap, Dash for cash events will be held in all 3 divisions with the potential to win Thousands more...But only if teams get their entry in on time!
"We all tend to procrastinate. It is human nature" said Grand Vitesse Racing's General Manager Glen Mazzone. "It is easy to wait until the 'last minute' to get tasks such as this {mailing in entries} done...The last minute is here!"
Coming from Ohio, the Grand Vitesse Team must be on the road no later than Tuesday, September 13 and entries must be processed no later than September 12.
Racers are encouraged to use Federal Express, UPS or Express Mail from the Post Office to ensure their entry is received on tim e...Grand Vitesse will pay the shipping fee!
