FORMULA KART PRODUCTIONS, INC. ANNOUNCES THE TENTATIVE DATES, VENUES AND CLASSES FOR THE 2006 FORMULA KART RACING FLORIDA WINTER TOUR
Panama City, Florida — The 8th annual edition of the FL Winter Tour will continue with the popular and cost-effective 3 event-weekend, 6 race-day format, with qualifying, pre-final and finals for all classes on both Saturday and Sunday. It’s sure to be “Serious Fun!”
Formula Kart’s Bill Wright ; “As always, we are releasing tentative information in August, for participant comment, and as always we’ll follow up this tentative info with Official info in October. This year, more than any other, it is very important that potential participants contact us with comments. In addition to trying to assure we don’t have any date conflicts, I am making some tough decisions about classes this year, and I need to hear from our participants before I make the official decisions in October.”

- Event-weekend # 1 / Race # 1 & 2 : January 21 & 22 Homestead Karting Miami/Homestead Speedway
- Event-weekend # 2 / Race # 3 & 4 : February 11 & 12 Moroso Motorsports Park or Gainesville Raceway
- Event-weekend #3 / Race # 5 & 6 : March 3 & 4 Ocala Gran Prix or Gainesville Raceway

The Formula Kart Productions promoted Florida Winter Tours continue to provide truly International competition, with class champions and competitors representing 7 different countries and 22 U.S. states, and a large awards program, with over $118,000 paid out in cash and awards.
For the 7th straight year the 2005 edition of the Formula Kart Racing FL Winter Tour set records for entries and awards, with an average of 256 entries for each event-weekend, and over $28,000 in cash and awards paid out.
The 2006 edition will see the continuation of the minimum $20,000 cash Pro class purse, and the addition of awards to be paid out to 4 additional classes, for a total 2006 awards in excess of $50,000.
