RAGE KARTS HEARTLAND SPEEDWAY PAVEMENT SERIES AT MIDSTATE RACEWAY

Concord, North Carolina — Zachary Kanizer took home the most wins from Springfield, Illinois winning in both Briggs Animal Medium & Heavy and in Briggs Lite.

Over a hundred entries made up round two of the WKA Rage Karts Heartland Speedway Pavement Championships. Mixing drivers from both our east coast and this newly formed series in the Heartlands made for great competition. Trenton Beckinger stole the show in the Briggs Jr Animal classes on Saturday and Sunday while Justin Kern grabbed wins in both Briggs Medium and Briggs Heavy.

The season finale and Grand National event for the series is being held at Jamaica Raceway in Jamaica, Iowa August 19 – 21. Drivers will be vying not only for championship status, but also the famed WKA Grand National Eagle Trophy and Grand National Jacket. It is also an opportunity for drivers to earn bonus points for the year-end point standings. Adding to the X-Caliber Grand National event, Dyer Motorsports and Dunamis Clutches are sponsoring Briggs Jr Sportsman Champ Lite and Heavy. Not normally included in the class order for this series, these classes, as well as Briggs Senior and Briggs Super Heavy, are being offered as Local Option (non-point) classes receiving the Grand National Awards.
