TWO ICC DRIVERS SWITCH TO EXPERIENCED SQUAD FOR BALANCE OF ’05 SEASON

Guelph, Ontario, Canada — The continued success of First Kart North America and the FirstKart.com race team has attracted ICC drivers Logan Gomez and Matt Pritiko into joining the arrive and drive national level race team for the remainder of the ’05 season.

Gomez, from Indiana, currently sits 6th in the Stars of Karting Eastern championship as he will bolt his TM by SRA on to the First Kart S.01 chassis in the hopes to move up in the point standings for a shot at the overall series crown. The talented young driver has scored several top ten results in national level competition this season and will continue to work with Rocket Racing’s Dave Talbot under the FirstKart.com tent.

Matt Pritiko from London, ON also made the switch to the FirstKart.com race team and as already competed in the Ontario Kart Racing Association’s Grand Nationals and the Crystal Cup of Canada races scoring two great results. Pritiko took the victory in Saturday’s action, taking home a much sought after “Bear”, before scoring a 3rd place result on Sunday as he showed up to the track without turning a lap in the two allotted practice days.

Always trying to stay ahead of the competition, the FirstKart.com race team is looking for drivers for their 2006 arrive and drive race team. The FirstKart.com race team arrive and drive program will travel to the ’06 Florida Winter Tour, Stars of Karting East and West events.
