SANTA MARIA TO HOST "WKA GEORGE KUGLER MANUFACTURER'S CUP WEST GRAND NATIONALS"
Concord, North Carolina — The Santa Maria Karting Association in partnership with the World Karting Association will host the WKA George Kugler Manufacturer’s Cup West Grand Nationals on Oct. 28 - 30.
Friday, Oct. 28 will be a practice day while Saturday and Sunday the 29th and 30th will be the race days. Championship Eagles will be presented to all class champions for the weekend. This event will also complete the final race of the 2005 WKA series. Points will be tabulated based on a best 4 out of 5 finish. Points’ champions will be crowned at an awards banquet later in the year.
“WKA is thrilled to bring this event to Santa Maria. Plans are in the works for an appreciation party on Friday night for all of our racers,” said WKA President Randy Kugler.
