SIMCOE KART CLUB TO RUN 4-CYCLE EVENTS AT THE WOODBINE GRAND PRIX RACE WEEKEND
Seattle, Washington — In addition to the Snap-on Stars of Karting presented by the IRL event held at the Woodbine Racetrack and Casino August 19-21 the Simcoe Kart Club will be holding races during the Snap-on Stars of Karting weekend at Woodbine. Practice for the Simcoe races will take place on Friday evening, with prefinals during the lunch break for the Stars’ races and finals following the Stars’ races at the end of each respective day. Classes to be run are:
Saturday Classes:
Novice
240 lbs. with 5.5 hp 4-cycle engine and 450 restrictor
220 lbs. with 4.0 hp 4-cycle engine (this type of engine must be sealed)
Senior Lite
310 lbs. with 6.5 hp engine
Sunday Classes:
Junior: 280 lbs. with 5.5 hp 4-cycle engine
Senior Medium: 340 lbs. with 6.5 hp 4-cycle engine
All classes will run with Dunlop SL4 tires
Fee will be $100 CAD/class entry
Entry form must be in no later than August 10, 2005
Class entry will be based on a first come, first serve basis
No more than 30 karts/class maximum will be entered
Friday night practice 5:00 pm- 9:00 pm, under Simcoe Kart Club supervision.
