WKA ANNOUNCES WEST COAST GRAND NATIONALS

Concord North Carolina — The World Karting Association will be hosting the West Coast

2-Cycle Sprint Grand Nationals the weekend of Oct. 28-30, 2005. The venue for the event will be finalized and announced next week, along with all other pertinent information.

This event will provide an opportunity for the 2-Cycle sprint racers to showcase their skills and hard work under WKA race management, as well as allow the WKA to recognize class points champions for the 2005 season with an obvious abbreviated racing schedule (counting the best four out of five races). 

"Our West Coast 2-Cycle Sprint racers deserve an opportunity to win their championship on the race track," WKA President Randy Kugler said.

Additional announcements regarding the future of this series will follow in coming weeks.
