TECH BULLETIN – ATTENTION: TM DEALERS AND CUSTOMERS

NEWS BRIEF: Italian Motors would like to inform all TM clients about the NEW spark

plugs produced by TM due to the recent disqualification for spark plug protrusion in to the cylinder head at the last Stars of Karting event in Chilliwack, BC, Canada.

From the factory, TM provides BOSCH W08CS for the TM K9 and the TM K9B model engines. The taper and length of the Bosch, TM and NGK spark plugs are all much different which may make the spark plug protrude through on some cylinder heads.  Due to the recent disqualification of David Jurca by .010 thousandths of depth, we suggest checking the protrusion of the plug in to the cylinder head after replacing the spark plugs with different brands to ensure your engine complies with the Stars of Karting Rules.
