CRG TO SEND ITS TOP JICA PILOT IN THE SNAP-ON STARS OF KARTING TO THE WINTER CUP IN ITALY
Seattle, Washington — CRG has committed to provide full support at the 2006 Winter Cup in Lonato, Italy for its top driver from the PCH Motorsports JICA class in the Snap-on Stars of Karting presented by the IRL.
Giancarlo Tinini of CRG was pleased to pledge his support to the North American karting scene, “I'm happy to confirm that CRG will award its top ICA Junior Stars Of Karting participant our complete technical support in helping to contribute to your junior incentive program. We are convinced that this is exactly the kind of incentive program that will help to motivate more drivers to pursue karting as their preferred sport. We applaud the people at the Stars Of Karting Federation for your continued resolve in the promotion of our wonderful sport.”
“Really this whole initiative to bring some of our top junior drivers to Europe started with an idea that Stephane St. Charles of PSL Karting brought to us at the beginning of the season, it really has mushroomed into something bigger than we had in mind but will provide some great experiences for a lot of our fastest kids,” said series marketing director Jeff Swoboda.
The next race in the Snap-on Stars of Karting series takes place at the brand-new USA International Raceway in Shawano, Wisconsin this weekend.
Snap-on Stars of Karting presented by the Indy Racing League is based out of Seattle, Washington, sanctioned by the World Karting Association (WKA) and owned and operated by 1986 Indianapolis 500 champion and IRL IndyCar Series team owner Bobby Rahal, IndyCar Series driver Bryan Herta and veteran karting promoter Paul Zalud.
