WKA UPDATES TIRE SPEC TIRES FOR MANUFACTURER’S CUP SERIES
Concord, North Carolina — The Dunlop DC-M tire is not available to the general karting public 60 days from the Manufacturer's Cup event at South Bend, Indiana, therefore the Dunlop DB-M tire will be allowed which will replace the Dunlop DB-S tire. Also, the Bridgestone YHB (USA) tire is no longer available, so the YJB (USA) tire will be allowed as well in the ICC and ICA classes in the Manufacturer's Cup Series.
These shortages are due to the CIK tire homologating process being completed and the new compounds are replacing the old. WKA sincerely apologizes for the confusion and inconvenience this may have caused and hope to see you in South Bend on July 15 - 17, 2005.
