CLASSES DROPPED FROM SCHEDULE IN THE RAGE KARTS HEARTLAND SERIES

Concord, North Carolina —  Due to a lack of interest, World Karting Association has decided to remove five classes from the national series for the remainder of the season.

Due to no entries in the Briggs Senior Sportsman Medium and Heavy, Briggs Senior, Briggs Super Heavy, and Blue Wazoom at the first event at USA International Raceway in Shawano, Wisconsin, it has been decided to drop those classes as "Nationally" recognized classes for the 2005 season.

At the Heartland Speedway Pavement Grand National event in Jamaica, Iowa, Briggs Senior and Briggs Super Heavy will be offered for competition with Grand National level awards with the winners all receiving a Grand National Eagle, a Grand National jacket, and a set of tires.

WKA would like to thank Rage Karts and all the many fine class and race sponsors who supported the first ever Rage Kart Heartland Speedway Pavement Championships.

Mid State Raceway at Springfield, Illinois is the 2nd  Round of the 2005 season.
