KARTECH MOTORSPORTS BRINGS THE DASH FOR CASH TO THE ‘STARS’ EVENT IN JACKSONVILLE
Seattle, Washington — Kartech Motorsports of Miami, FL, a karting shop and online karting store www.kartechusa.com owned by Joffre Amaya is bringing out the Benjamins for the quickest of the quick in the Snap-on Stars of Karting race in Jacksonville, FL. Just as in Norman, Oklahoma and New Castle, Indiana this year the Kartech Motorsports Dash for Cash will pit the fastest two qualifiers from the ICA, ICC, and Easykart classes on Sunday in an IROC style format that sees the six drivers pitted against each other in equally prepared Easykarts in a five lap race that see the winner walk away with $1000 at the finish line.
The race in New Castle saw one of the most exciting battles of the season thus far as Johnny Johnson went three wide underneath Paulie Harraka and Dominic Scheer at the last corner to take the spoils. Complete with its philosophy of providing full service and support to its customers Kartech Motorsports will be on-site at the track during the weekend as a vendor providing service and support to all of the racers.
“When Salomon came to us with this idea for the Dash for Cash races at the beginning of the year I didn’t realize what a fun aspect it would add to the race weekends. I think with the combination of sponsoring the Dash for Cash and having product and service available to racers at the track that this will be a great chance for Kartech Motorsports to introduce itself to a lot of people that may not have been aware of what they have to offer in person or online,” said series marketing director Jeff Swoboda.
Snap-on Stars of Karting presented by the Indy Racing League is based out of Seattle, Washington, sanctioned by the World Karting Association (WKA) and owned and operated by 1986 Indianapolis 500 champion and IRL IndyCar Series team owner Bobby Rahal, IndyCar Series driver Bryan Herta and veteran karting promoter Paul Zalud.
