TAG ™ SENIOR CLASS CAPPED  FOR ‘05 ROCK ISLAND GRAND PRIX

Rock Island, Illinois—Roger Ruthhart, director of the famous Rock Island Grand Prix, has announced that  the TAG™ Senior class has reached its cap of 55 entries for the 2005 event. All entries currently in hand are included in this number. TAG Masters is close behind.

The first 4 classes to surpass the 30 entry mark will cap at 55 and have a last chance qualifier. All other classes will cap at 30 entries. There will be no exceptions. Race officials  will maintain waiting lists for the classes that reach their caps and fill withdrawals based on the order in which racers have registered.

“We expect full fields in nearly all classes,” said Ruthhart. “If you have not yet entered this year's event, we encourage you to do so soon so that you are not left out. Overall, we are currently at 186 entries, which is way up over entries at this time last year (48 entries).”

The Rock Island Grand Prix will be held on September 3-4, 2005 in downtown Rock Island, lllinois.
