MAXX KART RACING TO BE FIELDING 2 GT RACE KARTS MARAUDER PRO ROTAX AT THE 2005 YOKOHAMA BLACK ROCK SUMMER SHOOTOUT!

Seattle, Washington — Maxx Kart Racing of Burbank, California will make the long trip to Black Rock this coming week-end to compete with their new 2005 GT Race Kart Marauder chassis in the highly competitive Pro Rotax class. For this event, Maxx kart will be bringing 2 of the newly released North-American engineered GT Marauder TaG chassis piloted by national caliber drivers.

The Yokohama Black Rock Summer shootout features the richest purse in karting with over $ 35,000 up for grabs in 4 pro classes and 1 junior class. The event will take place at the 0.8 mile Black Rock Raceway, 30 miles South West of Salt Lake City, Utah June 10-12, 2005.

The first GT Race Kart Marauder Pro Rotax entry will be driven by Sean Nielson, 2002 California ICC champion and 2003/2004 JM racing Stars of karting ICC/Easy kart team driver. The Marauder will be powered by a Full throttle-tuned Rotax engine.

The second Marauder Pro Rotax entry will be piloted by 2003 Southern California Rotax International Gatorz Eyewear champion Flemming Tranberg. The 2-kart race team will operate under the watchful eye of Maxx Kart Racing team manager/owner Tom Johnson & tuner Tony Venegas.
