WOODBRIDGE KART CLUB HOSTS SUCCESSFUL GRAND NATIONAL AT VIR
Concord, North Carolina — The Dunlop Tire Road Race Series Elite Karting Grand Nationals held at the historic VIRginia International Raceway produced several double winners and one triple winner, Todd DeMarchis.
Todd DeMarchis took home three Grand National Eagles, as well as, bragging rights for his wins in Briggs Sprint 360 and Briggs Animal Sprint 335 and 360. Nine other drivers took home double wins, most sweeping their classes including: David Davis in Briggs Jr Sprint Lite and Heavy, Jessica Brannam in Jr Sprint Lite and Heavy, Jim Fry in PP Can Lite and Medium, Kevin Kopp in PP Can Sprint 340 and 360, Matt Michel in Jr Enduro Lite and Heavy, Randy Domikis in Unlimited Lite and Heavy, Adam Romito in WKA/ICC 125 Sprint 1 and WKA Sprint Lite, Brad Zoeller in Spec 125 Sprint R&D 1 and 2, and finally, Dave Hechler in Yamaha Medium and Yamaha Sportsman Medium.
WKA extends a special thanks to the Woodbridge Kart Club for their tireless efforts in hosting an awesome event as well as a huge thank you to Mother Nature for sparring the event from her annual rain storm this year. And lastly, thanks to the competitors for their continued support
