THE RODIZIO GRILL JOINS SUMMER SHOOTOUT TEAM
Salt Lake City, Utah — The Rodizio Grill, a high-end Brazilian barbeque restaurant with locations in Salt Lake City, Utah and Denver, Colorado has joined the group of companies supporting the 2005 Yokohama Black Rock Summer Shootout. The Rodizio Grill will be the class sponsor for the Pro Rotax category and will also cater a driver appreciation barbeque on Saturday night at the track.
"We're thrilled to welcome the Rodizio Grill on board," said Black Rock's Terry Bybee. "Our goal with the Shootout is to make sure everyone has a great time and we wanted to show the racers how much we appreciate them taking the time to come race with us. Our partnership with the great people at The Rodizio Grill affords us a great opportunity to provide the drivers with some of the best food in our city after a hard day of racing."
The menu for the Saturday night barbeque is as follows:
Arroz Branco – Brazilian white rice
Feijoada – Traditional Brazilian black bean stew eaten over rice & farofa, a Brazilian favorite
Farofa de Carne – Yuca flour and beef
Salada Grega – Greek Salad, a combination of fresh mozzarella, tomatoes, cucumber, olives and spices in a light vinaigrette
Lombo – Marinated pork loin, an original Rodizio recipe
Fraldinha – Slow roasted beef tender
Abacaxi – Fresh, glazed pineapple grilled to perfection
Bolo Brigadeiro – A delicious chocolate cake covered in our signature Brigadeiro chocolate sauce
The barbeque is free for all drivers and $15.00 each for crew and spectators.
The Yokohama Black Rock Summer Shootout will be held June 10th-12th and is offering $35,000 in cash and prizes in five classes. The Pro ICC class winner will receive $5,000.00 and winners of the 125cc Masters, Rotax and Rotax Master's classes will receive $2,000. All classes pay down to tenth place.
