YOKOHAMA BLACK ROCK SUMMER SHOOTOUT ANNOUNCES JUNIOR ROTAX PRIZE STRUCTURE
Salt Lake City, Utah — As the eagerly anticipated 2005 Yokohama Black Rock Summer Shootout approaches, the organizers have released the prize structure for the Junior Rotax category. The Shootout will award prizes to the top ten finishers in the Junior Rotax class with a total value of $2,500.00.
The first place finisher will be awarded a Summer Shootout Limited-Edition, hand-built scooter from Brand-O. This is a one-of-a-kind item that will identify its owner as the winner of the 2005 Yokohama Black Rock Summer Shootout. In addition, the event winner will also receive the highly sought-after Sony PSP video game system with three games and a host of accessories. The total value of the winner's prizes is $775.00.
"Even though we know it's the Dad's who pay the bills and do all the work, we really wanted to do something special for the kids who are racing in this class. The custom scooter is a piece of art that any Junior driver will be thrilled to tool around the pits on and of course everybody wants a Sony PSP!", said Black Rock's Terry Bybee.
The complete prize structure is as follows:
1st - Custom Scooter, Sony PSP, 3 PSP games, PSP memory chip, PSP starter kit and PSP extra-life battery. Total value = $775.00
2nd - Sony PSP, 3 PSP games, PSP memory chip, PSP starter kit and PSP extra-life battery. Total value = $575.00
3rd - $380.00 Best Buy gift certificate
4th - $200.00 Best Buy gift certificate
5th - $150.00 Best Buy gift certificate
6th - $100.00 Msquared Karting gift certificate
7th-10th - $80.00 Msquared Karting gift certificate
The Yokohama Black Rock Summer Shootout will be held June 10th-12th and is offering $35,000 in cash and prizes in five classes. The Pro ICC class winner will receive $5,000.00 and winners of the 125cc Masters, Rotax and Rotax Master's classes will receive $2,000. All classes pay down to tenth place.
