THE RED BULL DRIVER SEARCH ANNOUNCES OPEN QUALIFYING WINNERS
New York City, New York — Open Qualifying for the 2005 Red Bull Driver Search concluded earlier this month with 180 aspiring racers from across the country advancing to the Run Offs, phase two of this unparalleled Program to find and support young American racers.
Throughout the month of April thousands of participants from across the country flocked to 60 indoor and outdoor karting centers in the hope of progressing to the next stage of the Program. The winners (listed below) will compete at one of two Run Off events on the East and West Coast during the summer.
On reaching the Run Offs, these young hopefuls will be two steps away from the 2005 Final, and an opportunity to join the Red Bull Junior Team and compete in a junior formula in Europe for 2006.
