EAS 2006 BUILDS QUICKLY ON ITS 2005 SUCCESS
Alexandria, Virginia — The industry enthusiasm generated by the well-attended and well-received 2005 Euro Amusement Show (EAS), held in late January in Vienna, Austria, has continued right through the early planning of its 2006 edition.
The EAS is the region’s largest amusement and attractions trade show. Marking its sixth year in 2006, the event will again take place at the Messe Wien Exhibition & Congress Center in Vienna, February 3-5.
“Judging by how quickly the industry’s leading manufacturers and suppliers have signed up for 2006 exhibit space, accounting for more than 40% of the available area, it’s clear the EAS is becoming the can’t-miss show in Europe,” stated Wieland Schwarzkopf, EAS Board member. “We feel very confident that it will ultimately unify the regional market for exhibitors and attendees alike.”
Exhibitors already registered for EAS 2006 include such innovative and well-respected industry names as Vekoma, Sally Corp., Gerstlauer, Whitewater West, Bob’s Space Racers, Zamperla, Pax, Mack, Intamin, Premier, Huss, Forrec, Hafema, and Schwarzkopf Rides.
“Everyone involved with putting on the Euro Amusement Show is excited about the favorable results this past January, and our continued efforts to further enhance the event provide high hopes for the future,” added EAS Board member J. Clark Robinson.
EAS 2005 welcomed more than 7,200 attendees to the four-day event, which featured 250 exhibitors spread over more than 8,600 net square meters of space, a comprehensive educational program, and several popular special events.
