Edwardsville, Illinois – Carl Weakley, president of the Vintage Karting Association (VKA) has announced the dates of the national vintage tour for 2010.

First on the schedule this year is the event at Adams Motorsports Park at Riverside CA, January 28-30th. Weakley stresses that pre-entries need to be mailed by 01/10/2010. See the VKA website www.vkavintagekarting.com for entry blanks.
There will be a party on the Thursday and Friday nights of the event. On Thursday, January 28, there will be a special party honoring the 50th anniversary of the Adams Motorsports Park at the local Marriott. Tickets for the Adams party are limited and are $35 each. Reservations are now being accepted.

On Friday night, January 29th, a tent gala/kart show/dinner/raffle will be held at the Riverside track which will be free to all participants.
 
A large contingent of vintage karters from the Midwest are having their
karts transported to California by the Bennett Family out of Michigan. See
more information on the website entry blank. You may live along the route
to Riverside and may want to take advantage of the Bennett’s transport.
 
Don't forget the Geritol Gang luncheon on Friday 1/29/10. Request your
reservations at julismarketing@sbcglobal.net. Seating is always limited so
reserve now.
