THE BRAID BELT
Arizona-based Kart Parts Unlimited says the “Braid” Connectable Belt has been designed to quickly and easily replace the O-Rings currently used to drive the water pumps on TAG’s and Shifters. No need to remove the rear axle to install a new belt. Simply loop the “Braid Belt” around the axle shaft, hook the ends together with the pre-assembled, loop over the water pump pulley and you’re back on the track.

The “Braid Belt” has a patented heavy-duty, stainless steel connector which is already attached to one end of the belt and is superior to “S” hooks. This tight wedge connector requires no crimping to achieve maximum belt life. KPU says that the Braid Belt performs better than any O-Ring type belt and has been used for over one year without replacement on top performing karts.
