03.02.2010 – As the 2010 racing season rapidly approaches, class sponsorships are still available in all WKA national series except Manufacturer’s Cup. Ten national classes are open in Russell Karting Gold Cup; 12 in Briggs & Stratton Speedway Dirt; 17 in Vega Speedway Pavement and 22, or about half of the Dunlop Tire Road Racing driven by Mazda classes.
Class sponsors have long been a vital part of the success of WKA national racing. All sponsors, whether series; event; class or pole award, help WKA’s national racing programs maintain a high level with top-notch officiating and structure at the best venues.
Class sponsors receive a wealth of exposure and benefits to make their support of WKA worth it for their business. These benefits include name listed on awards; entry blanks and in magazine race reports, two complimentary pit passes per event, a complimentary pit spot at each event, a discount on a Tech Manual advertisement, frequent mentions on PA announcements at races, contact information in magazine and on WorldKarting.com, selling and signage rights at each event and discounts on Michael L. Davis insurance.
If you’d like more information on sponsoring a class, contact Marie Borsuk today at 704-455-1606 ext. 11 or e-mail Marie.
Current class sponsors are reminded to submit their sponsor announcement forms to the WKA office. Announcers use these forms at WKA national races to promote class sponsors’ business and offerings. These forms can simply be a paragraph or two stating the business name, contact information and offerings and specialties. They can be faxed to WKA at 704-455-1609 or mailed to WKA; 6051 Victory Lane.; Concord, NC 28027.
