Concord, North Carolina - Keeping the momentum rolling on the Briggs & Stratton Speedway Dirt Series following a most successful Dirt World Championships at Daytona, World Karting officials are proud to announce that south-central Pennsylvania-based AKS RaceFab, returning in its fourth year as a Dirt Series sponsor, will add to the fortunes of one lucky competitor at each of the remaining four Speedway Dirt events in 2010.
As the series heads to Hurricane Raceway in Alma, Georgia, April 9-11 for the Bordeaux Dyno Cams Nationals, AKS RaceFab owner Shawn Lyter will give a body away to a competitor in the Briggs Medium class. The number will be drawn following the Briggs Medium event on Sunday, which is the first main event of that day’s activities. Whoever finishes in the position of the number that is drawn will be the winner. Since Shawn’s daughter Amber Reisinger runs in this class and would be eligible for the prize, should her number be drawn, another number would then be drawn.
Starting the business as Al’s Kart Supply in 2002, Shawn expanded the company into fiberglass and body works in 2006. He’s been an active sponsor on the Speedway Dirt Series since 2007. Shawn also serves as chairman of the Speedway Dirt Series Competition Committee.
