DIFFERENT FACES, GREAT MINDS CONVERGE AT EURO ATTRACTIONS SHOW 2006
Vienna, Austria — While every attraction has a distinctive identity, offering and specialty, each great mind behind the attractions has the common insistence to increase attendance, profitability and success. It is the Euro Attractions Show 2006 that groups together the exceptional combination of various attractions and influential professionals in one place to create the premier European-based trade show for the attractions industry.
“The first co-organized Euro Attractions Show confirmed the need for a larger, all encompassing show,” said Roger Houben from 3dba. “However, the mix of visitors was great compared to previous years. We met many customers we don’t encounter at the US Attractions Expo or other European Based Shows.”
Being held February 3-5, 2006 at Messe Wien Convention Centre in Vienna, EAS 2006 will include amusement and theme parks, carnivals, fairs and showmen, family entertainment centers, waterparks, zoos and aquariums, museums and science centers, stadiums and arenas, campgrounds and nationals parks, casinos and gaming, shopping centers and retailers, and more. With 9,000 square meters of exhibit space and more than 250 exhibitors, EAS 2006 also offers the only comprehensive range of product categories, educational sessions, renowned keynote sessions, and networking opportunities available in Europe.
The industry enthusiasm generated by late January’s well-attended 2005 EAS contributed to the growth and stamina of the EAS show network.
“The EAS Show in Vienna 2005 was the best EAS show so far,” said Kurt Mack-Even from Mack Rides GmbH & Co. KG. “This show is now the key event in our industry for Europe and the countries in the Middle East, and will remain such in the future.”
Marking EAS’s sixth year in 2006, exhibitors already registered for EAS 2006 include such innovative and well-respected industry names as Vekoma, Sally Corp., Gerstlauer, Whitewater West, Bob’s Space Racers, Zamperla, Pax, Mack, Intamin, Premier Rides, Huss, Forrec, and Hafema. Other products and services that will showcase at EAS 2006 include amusement rides, food and beverage, consultancy services, theming and design companies, and “back of house” capabilities like ticket sales and IT services.
EAS 2005 welcomed more than 7,200 attendees to the four-day event, which featured 250 exhibitors spread over more than 8,600 net square meters of space, a comprehensive educational program, and several popular special events.
“The success of EAS 2005 relied on the professional organisation of the trade show,” added Mack-Even, “and we look forward to returning, because we know it will be the premier European show in 2006.”
