May 2005 - WELCOME TO THE “NEW” e-KMI.COM

Over the last 45 days, e-KMI.com has undergone a complete redesign which makes the site more user-friendly and easier to navigate. We have streamlined it as well as added new features including a “search” mode, which will make it easier to find articles and stories in our vast archives.

You will also notice that we have combined the old “News Briefs” (short news stories) and FYI (longer stories) into one column titled FYI.  Our new technology will also allow us to add new news as it arrives rather than wait until the weekend as we have done in the past. 

We will continue to feature many of our usual monthly columns: The Racer’s Edge, Fun Times, Concession Corner, Indoor Info and others, for your reading enjoyment. And as before, all feature stories are archived for future use. No other karting website in the world covers the entire karting industry the way e-KMI.com does.

We are in the process of designing a new website which will take place of our print publication, International Karting Industry Buyer’s Guide. The new site, KartSearch.com, will encompass the buyer’s guide format including links to industry websites.  The new site should be launched within the next 60 days or so. We are very excited about this new project which will feature manufacturer, distributor and dealer websites in over 450 karting product categories at the fingertips of millions of web users worldwide. With this in mind, we have dropped the Kart Links from e-KMI.com as they will eventually be re-directed to the new site.
