Bill Wright from FKP : "MG was a big supporter of the FL Winter Tour when we began the Tour, and I'm happy to renew this relationship. Based on past experience with MG tire, competitors can look forward to excellent performance at a very competitive price."

As in the past, race tires are purchased from the promoter and distributed at the events. Competitors may purchase tire vouchers either with their pre-registration*, or direct from the promoter at the event.

Pro 125 will have the option of racing the  MZ or XZ. All other classes will race the MZ.

Formula Kart Productions is happy to announce a continued relationship with VP fuels and oils as the Official Spec Fuel and Oil for all classes at the 6th Annual FL Winter Tour.

Bill Wright from FKP:  "Over the last few years VP has become accepted as THE fuel and oil for top level kart racing. Competitors can once again count on the consistent performance they have come to expect from the full line of VP Racing products."

As in the past, a pre-determined minimum number of fuel and oil vouchers per race-day are purchased from the promoter, and will be redeemed by FK at the events. Competitors may purchase fuel and oil vouchers either with their pre-registration*, or from the promoter at the event.

ICC and Rotax competitors will race on Motorsports 98. Moto competitors will race on C12. Competitors will have their choice of C2 or RC3 oil.

The 6th Annual FL Winter Tour will continue the tradition of providing great value and International prestige to Kart Racers from all over North and South America. The 5 previous FL Winter Tours have featured truly international fields, with racers from 6 different countries and 22 different U.S. states. Pro class racers have been paid over $39,200 in CASH purses, with amateur classes receiving over $33,000 in additional prizes and awards, for a combined payout of over $72,200 in cash and awards.

This years Tour will consist of 6 race days occurring over 3 race weekends, Homestead January 17-18, Palmetto February 14-15, and Ocala March 13-14. This year we anticipate a slight increase in participation from our friends from the north, as many shops and competitors are excited about our money-saving "double-race weekend" format.
