    SHOCKWAVE ANNOUNCES CONTINGENCY PROGRAM
Englewood, Colorado — Shockwave karting is please to announce a new contingency program in conjunction with the SKUSA ProMoto Tour.  This program offers generous payout of cash and merchandise for the top three positions in the support classes.  To be eligible for the program, the racer must use certain Shockwave Karting components and place in the top three positions.

The contingency program is designed to assist those racers who usually receive little or no outside support.  “This is something I have wanted to do for some time”, said Shockwave Karting owner and founder Doug Welch.  Most support class racers receive at best a trophy and a bill from their team at the end of the event.  Most of these racers work just has hard as the pro level racers but rarely receive any benefit other than the satisfaction of a job well done.  The classes Shockwave Karting is supporting are S1, Super G, Junior, TAG Senior, TAG Master.

Shockwave Karting will award the following prizes to the finishers of the selected classes.

1st place $100 merchandise certificate or $50 cash (racer choice)

    2nd place, $75 merchandise certificate

    3rd place, $50 merchandise certificate

The total potential payout for the season is $14,625.  It is our way of saying “Thank You” to the thousands of hard working racers who have supported us over the past 2 years.  To receive the award, the racers must do the following:

    1. The racers must use a Shockwave Karting axle, wheels or radiator.
    2. The racer must have a minimum of two 5" Shockwave Karting stickers on their kart.
    3. The racer must have a Shockwave Karting patch on their driver suit.
    4. The racer will agree to let Shockwave Karting use their name and photos in Shockwave karting advertising.

For stickers and patches, the racer only needs to call Shockwave Karting at 800-608-3457 and we will gladly send them right out.

We know are products can help racers win races.  At the 2003 SKUSA Super Nationals, there were racers on almost every podium who were using Shockwave Karting components.  While our products are very competitively priced, we know that our quality is superior in every way to any component on the market at any price!

    X-KARTS EVENT CONTINUES TO GROW
Las Vegas, Nevada — It was announced that Jim Russell Racing School has reached an agreement with the X-Karts Racing Series to have a presence at their "Kickoff '04" event being held at Edison Field, Home of the California Angels, in Anaheim on Feb. 20 - 22, 2004.  Jim Russell Racing appreciates the direction taken by the X-Karts Racing Series and their dedication to enhancing the exposure of Kart Racing.

Del Leutbecher of Jim Russell Racing, states, "This event will be extremely unique as that it is running in conjunction with an Off-Road and Watersports Expo at one of the most visible baseball stadiums in the country.  Along with the significant cash purse being offered, there will be an anticipated 20,000 spectators attending the Off-Road Expo and will certainly be drawn to the action at the temporary course".  He adds "We highly encourage all of our friends, associates and students to attend this event and experience the thrill of racing in front of a potentially large crowd and in an exciting venue”.

The course layout designed by Chuck Berntsen, will prove to be a most exciting and competitive temporary course. The track’s length is just under 6/10 mile, has 10 turns and an 800' kinked front straight with turn 10 being the kink. Turns 1, 2, and 3 are hair pins and the straightaway between turns 7 and 8 will run directly under the Big ‘A’ that overlooks the stadium.

The Off-Road and Watersports Expo produced by On the Edge Promotions,
(www.ontheedgepromotions.com), is also generating a great deal of excitement within the surrounding communities.  With high profile sponsors such as Range Rover and Yamaha, they are anticipating large crowds over the course of the weekend.  All spectators entering the Expo will have access to watch the Kart Racing as well.

It was also announced that the distribution of the $15,000 cash purse being offered will be announced on Monday.  Along with the cash purse; trophies, gift certificates and U.S. Savings Bonds will be awarded.

Howard Lipkint, President of HSL Entertainment, states, “We are still trying to clean up some of the loose ends left by previous relationships, but as stated earlier, many of the seeds that had been planted are coming to fruition.  The concept of building the brand, showcasing Kart Racing as a viable stand alone entity and enhancing the visibility of the drivers, through television exposure, licensing and merchandising opportunities are proving to be a formula for success.  This vision will not only create Driver awareness, but team sponsors will finally get their share of exposure as well”.

“It is unfortunate that our event had to be scheduled on the same weekend as the popular KMI Kart Expo, but the Off-Road and Watersports Expo had this date previously scheduled and this location and potential tremendous visibility fit into the X-Karts Racing Series concept of exposure.  Though some companies cannot attend our event, there are still ways for them to get noticed and gain exposure through our event” added Mr. Lipkint.

For sponsor information, please contact Mr. Fred Greenfield at 310-938-1466 or adsales@surfside.net.

Entry forms and additional information are available on www.xkartsracing.com.  The X-Karts Racing Series “Anaheim Survival Guide”, which outlines schedules and rules, will also be available online by the weekend.  If you require more immediate information and entry forms, please contact us at Anaheim@hslentertainment.com.  Technical questions can be forwarded to racedirector@hslentertainment.com.

EASYKART JOINS STARS AS THE SIXTH CLASS TO RUN IN THE NATIONAL SERIES.
Hilliard, Ohio — The Snap-on Stars Of Karting proudly announce Easykart 125 as the sixth
class to run in the National series for 2004. As part of the Grand prize for the Snap-On Stars of Karting, Easykart USA is offering to each of the East and West Champions a trip to Valencia, for a 3-day Formula BMW test. In addition to the test, a $15,000.00 Cash prize will be awarded to the Snap-On Stars of Karting Easykart 125 National Champion.

"This is an ideal opportunity to show all the benefits of Easykart as being the only 100% spec class in North America where the chassis, motor, and tires are the same for all the competitors, and where the only difference is the drivers, and not the size of their wallets. It is an honor for Easykart America to be a part of the Snap-On Stars Stars of Karting, since it is considered the premier karting series in the USA" said Pablo Montoya, C.E.O.
    Easykart America.

"With the popularity of the TaG (Touch and Go) format of racing, it was important for us to offer a competitive class that had more control over the rules and regulations", said Paul Zalud of Stars. "With the credibility that Formula BMW provides, we are looking forward to adding this truly spec class to our series, and giving the competitor a chance to experience Formula BMW for themselves."

"As we continue to build our National and International Programs, we are thrilled to be a part of the Snap-On Stars of Karting Series. Our ultimate goal is to give each and every driver an opportunity to compete at a National and International level. Easykart America will travel to all the East and West coast Stars National Events with karts, parts, gear, tires and
engines to support the Easykart 125 class and its Drivers." Said Salomon Bendayan, C.O.O. Easykart America.

Stars Technical Director, Scott Evans adds, "The Easykart rules structure takes spec racing to the highest degree, with control not only over the engine and tires, but also very limited adjustments to the required chassis. It is obviously focused on driver skill and should be an exciting class for inclusion in the 2004 Stars program. A complete rulebook is available at www.starsofkarting.com.
